Seems the Recent changes list has been changed somewhat, replacing the bolded N,m and red ! with dotted underlines.
Also noticed purple borders around all the media links when viewed through the ingame browser (chrome).

What media links are you referring to? --Xevo 18:54, April 26, 2011 (EDT)

I suspect he's referring to links around "no pic" files in templates - Tarnished Deneith Heavy Chain for instance. Yay for having the red ! back! (and I like the green N, to boot) LrdSlvrhnd 01:42, April 28, 2011 (EDT)

I had requested some version information from Xevo last week and he responded Sunday with:
  • Extension functions
    • ceSetup, efCategoryTree, efContributors, efDuplicator, efReCaptcha, wfCalcExtension, wfContributionseditcount, wfDPLforum, wfDynamicFunctions, wfNiceCategoryList, wfPurge, wfSetupParserFunctions, wfSetupVariables, (CssHook, setup) and (ExtDynamicPageList2, setup)
  • Parser extension tags
    • <calc>, <categorytree>, <css>, <dpl>, <forum>, <imagemap>, <inputbox>, <ncl>, <pre> and <section>
  • Parser function hooks
    • anchorencode, arg, basepagename, basepagenamee, categorytree, defaultsort, displaytitle, dpl, dplchapter, dplmatrix, expr, filepath, formatdate, formatnum, forumlink, fullpagename, fullpagenamee, fullurl, fullurle, gender, grammar, if, ifeq, iferror, ifexist, ifexpr, int, ip, language, lc, lcfirst, localurl, localurle, namespace, namespacee, ns, numberingroup, numberofactiveusers, numberofadmins, numberofarticles, numberofedits, numberoffiles, numberofpages, numberofusers, numberofviews, padleft, padright, pagename, pagenamee, pagesincategory, pagesize, plural, protectionlevel, rand, rel2abs, skin, special, subjectpagename, subjectpagenamee, subjectspace, subjectspacee, subpagename, subpagenamee, switch, tag, talkpagename, talkpagenamee, talkspace, talkspacee, time, timel, titleparts, uc, ucfirst, urlencode, var, vardefine, vardefineecho and varexists.

On Monday I recieved, "I had a moment of temporary bravery and upgraded to the latest version (1.16.1)." In the next email I was also informed, "I just updated ParserFunctions to the latest version and enabled string functions." This may be the cause of the changes you are witnessing.. As I currently understand it, there may be more upgrades/updates in to come in the near future. ShoeMaker 06:39, April 26, 2011 (EDT)

I vote we go back to whatever version it was had the bolded m/NM and red ! if further updates don't put 'em back *g*→ LrdSlvrhnd 17:07, April 26, 2011 (EDT)

At this point its too late to go back. The jump from mediawiki version 1.15.* to 1.16.* required database schema changes. The only way to go back now would be from backup, and that would mean losing any changes since the backup. I'm sure there's a way to get the old style links back. I'll start looking into it. UPDATE - I figured it out :) --Xevo 18:48, April 26, 2011 (EDT)→ --Xevo 18:21, April 26, 2011 (EDT)
