Epic (damage type)
For information on the difficulty level, see Epic.
A creature with Epic damage reduction will ignore a certain amount of damage received from any attack except those who can deal damage flagged with the epic damage type.
- Monks at level 20 receive the feat, Perfect Self, which grants 10/Epic damage reduction to the player character.
- Paragon Kobold Warrior, Kasquik the Mighty and several other monsters have various amounts of DR/Epic.
Note: Currently, only a few weapons available to players have the epic damage type flag. The level 20 Mournlode Weapons and Calomel Weapons obtainable from Cannith Challenges have the Epic Damage quality.
