  • Maurelius Tablar: You, there! I could use some assistance.

Once you actually talk to him, he will say:

  • Maurelius Tablar: The twelve sent me out here to investigate the tree of death over there, and what do I find? An open portal to Risia with elementals pouring through! Could they be connected? Maybe. is this what I signed up for? Most definitely not!
  • You: It sounds likely that they are related occurrences.
  • Maurelius Tablar: Fine, whatever. Are you going to just stand there gawking or are you going to help me close this portal!?
    • You: ... (Start the encounter)

There is a total of four waves of elementals, and before each one, he will tell you:

  • Maurelius Tablar: There are elementals coming through! protect me so I can close this thing!
  • Maurelius Tablar: This is bad... There's more!
  • Maurelius Tablar: Good show!
  • Maurelius Tablar: It's almost closed! Can you keep it up?
  • Maurelius Tablar: I'm... glad you showed up. Thanks.
