The formula is incorrect. A Speed XV item (which is pretty much) would result in just 7,5% ((5*1.5)%)increased movement speed, which could already be gained at very low levels (around level 4).

Hmm. 5*15 = 75% speed increase. However, the run speed benefit is capped at Speed VI (ML11), 6*5 = 30% speed increase, same as the old Striding 30%. --Cru121 (ContributionsMessage) 05:37, September 2, 2013 (EDT)

Update 29 changes[edit]

Speed is also found as a suffix on randomly generated weapons (looking at one right now, a "Keen Sickle of Speed" (speed III), and have seen many others). Sadly, I have no idea how to edit this info into the template.C-Hound (ContribsMessage) 01:49, January 30, 2017 (EST)
