Talk:Damage

From DDO wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

In D&D, when you wield a one-handed weapon with two hands (that is, a single weapon with no shield) you add 1.5 times your strenght to damage. Is it the same in DDO? In character panel there is nothing about your damage. --Special:Contributions/94.34.21.202

No. See also PnP differences. --Cru121 (ContributionsMessage) 05:58, July 12, 2013 (EDT)

Conflated topics[edit]

This page seems to be primarily about weapon damage mechanics, with generic damage types included as an afterthought (which, indeed, appears to reflect the page's history). I propose to divide the page into Weapon damage and Damage type, with the latter including a sentence or paragraph defining each type. The question is what to do with this page. The obvious options are: (a) disambiguation page; (b) redirect to Weapon damage; (c) redirect to Damage type. I'm inclined to go with (c), since I suspect that is far and away the more common usage.
