Things currently not included in crafting[edit]

Because of unknown reasons, might be balance or coding Crafting cap is limited to 75 in Update 9.1.

Missing properties[edit]

  • Paralyzing
  • ForceIcon tooltip.pngForce: This weapon is humming with magical force. It deals an additional 1 to 6 force damage on a successful hit.
  • Force BurstIcon tooltip.pngForce Burst: This weapon is humming with magical force. The weapon deals an extra 1 to 6 force damage each hit. In addition, critical hits deal an additional 1 to 10 force damage for weapons with a x2 critical multiplier, 2 to 20 for a x3 critical multiplier and 3 to 30 for a x4 multiplier.
  • MetallineIcon tooltip.pngMetalline: Metalline bypasses any metal based damage reduction. (Adamantine, "Alchemical, Silver", Byeshk, Cold Iron, Mithral)
  • Vorpal
  • Fortification +100%Icon tooltip.pngFortification +100%: This suit of armor or shield produces a magical force that protects vital areas of the wearer much more effectively. When a critical hit or sneak attack is scored on the wearer, there is a 100% chance that the critical hit or sneak attack is negated and damage is instead rolled normally. (75+ level)
  • Disruption
  • Smiting
  • Banishing

(List should be updated as more properties are found to be missing.)

See Missing Theory for why they are probably missing.

Bugged properties in crafting[edit]

  • (Lesser) Vampirism on handwraps (effect never triggers)
  • Stunning on handwraps (shards cannot be applied)

Items eligible to be deconstructed[edit]

Only non-named equipment originally found as treasure or received as rewards is craftable. Named items, some(?) DDO Store purchased, vendor purchased, and some Collectable turn-in reward items are not craftable. Crafted shards can also be deconstructed again.

Craftable examples:[edit]

  • +1 Silver Longsword from a chest or quest end reward, pulled by someone else, and then sold to you via the Auction House or a Pawn Broker
  • +5 Goggles of Disabling Bind to Account from a quest chain reward (from Delera's etc) - Note these currently maintain their BTA status after crafting instead of becoming BTC. This is a known bug
  • Random weapons and armor from turning in collectables:
  • +1 Blessed Silver Longsword from the DDO Store (Confirmed)
  • Silver-Studded and Cold Iron-Studded handwraps (Very rare, and not bound, from Devil Assault on Normal or Hard difficulties).
  • Shard of Power from The Shroud or the new Customizable Trinket (BtC rare drop from any chest, and available on the DDO Store) are craftable trinkets.

Not Craftable:[edit]

(Error): Only equipment originally found as treasure or received as rewards is craftable. (Named items and vendor purchased items are not craftable.)
* - There is currently a bug allowing items purchased from Hammer and Chain shop in the Harbor to be made craftable. This allows a (albeit) short term opportunity to apply these shards to inexpensive items then deconstruct these items again for limited returns.

Items able to craft[edit]

Crafting Examples

  • Shards (meta-items) BtA
  • Weapons (including handwraps) BtC
  • Shields BtC
  • Armor BtC
  • Accessories BtC (including a trinket BtA, DDO Store and Shroud Power Shard (trinket) BtC)

"Magic arrows and potions certainly may come later"

Limitations to add bonuses[edit]

high + effect from adding bonuses will raise the minimum level of the item in question
