Cannith crafted weapons[edit]

This Crafting with Courtney: Making a point (Episode 43) indicates that the Bashing effect can be crafted on to ANY bludgeoning weapon. Has anyone tested this? Does it add to base damage? Is the damage bludgeoning/untyped/...? Raumkraut (ContributionsMessage) 07:38, April 21, 2012 (EDT)

Ok, so I found two identical scepters (bludgeoning weapon) from the AH. I deconstructed them so they were both perfectly blank. I crafted a "Shard" (Shard of Bashing [The name of the shard seems bugged out to me]). I applied the "Shard" to one of the identical scepters and went to my airships training dummy. The scepter with the shard of bashing did an extra 1d6 force damage on a normal attack (I find it interesting it shows up as force damage). I put it on a shield and it also does force damage, regardless of whether it is a manual shield bash, skill from vanguard, or auto-proc shield bash. ZirePhoenix (ContributionsMessage)
