Type: Prefix
Base price modifier: 1 to 5 depending on power and level.
Effect: Increase the damage (and healing) of all spells within the level range. 10%(Lesser) - 50% (Superior) while equipped.
Notes: Efficacy and Potency items work as "Universal" spell damage amplification and will work on spells with unusual damage types.
- Blade Barrier - slashing
- Cometfall - bludgeoning
- Ice Storm - half cold, half bludgeoning
- Flame Strike - half fire, half divine
- Disintegrate - untyped
- etc.
Superior Potency VI and Greater Potency VII is the best you can have on randomly generated items. It is not possible find Superior Potency VII scepter nor Lesser Potency VIII scepter for example. Minimum level of these are 14 or 16, although they dropped as level 12 for a short period of time back around Module 4.
