Creature type
A creature type defines features and traits for certain group of races. If the creature type has subtypes, then it represents the common aspects and traits for those subtypes.
Creature type (or its subtypes if it has any) is used when selecting a favored enemy. Also a weapons magical special ability, bane alters the weapons abilities according what is the target creature type.
