Description
Conjure a single Shadowblade to your main hand. Shadowblades are Shortswords made of Force and may use your Charisma modifier for their attack and damage. As you level up, they will become more powerful. If you unequip your Shadowblades, they will dissapate into nothingness and must be summoned again.
Notes:
- Shadowblades are not subject to item damage.
- Shadowblades are destroyed upon death, when leaving a quest, and when logging out.
- A Monk automatically treats Shadowblades as Ki weapons.
- Although the item description suggests Shadowblades require Martial Weapon Proficiency, a character is automatically proficient with them.
- Shadowblades cannot accept Sentience, regardless of level. At levels 20 and above, it may be worth considering replacing them with an item such as Esper, the Shadowblade that can both accept the powerful buffs afforded by Sentience and have a Charisma bonus to attack and damage - see this category for suggestions.
- The epic feat Master of Shadowblades has no effect on this spell.
